Short Description

This online self-study course highlights the unique issues that families of young children with special needs face when looking for child care. Explore the family perspective and discuss the topics of grief and ‘loss of dreams.’ Recognize the similarities between all families including those with children with special needs and those without. Demonstrate the need for acceptance and respect of diversity for family structures, values, and members.
