Minnesota Department of Education - The Successful Learner Equation "The Successful Learner Equation is used to recognize and uplift the individuals, programs, and systems that contribute to the success of each learner. This page, from the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), includes links to their 18-minute webinar, a one-page flyer with an overview of the equation, and a language guide that provides examples of alternative language to use when communicating with others on this topic." Minnesota Department of Education Early Childhood The MDE Early Childhood Screening webpage contains links to screening brochures and forms in many different languages including Russian, Vietnamese, and Somali to name a few. Early Childhood Screening is a quick and simple check of how children are doing at age 3 ½ or 4 years old. It identifies, at an early stage, possible learning or health concerns so that children can get needed help before starting school. Early Childhood Screening is required for entrance in Minnesota?s public schools and is offered throughout the year by local districts. Website

Minnesota Department of Health - Hand Hygiene Wash Your Hands! Hand hygiene is a term used to cover both hand washing using soap and water, and cleaning hands with waterless or alcohol-based hand sanitizers.   Be sure to scroll down to see the handwashing videos! Minnesota Disability Law Center The Law Help MN website addresses the legal needs of many persons including those with disabilities (click on disabilities and it brings up a wealth of information). The Center provides free legal services for Minnesotans with disabilities. Several statewide offices help create and distribute key information to the public through fact sheets, booklets, and manuals. Much of this information is available through the online Educational Materials and through each office's online links. Website
