Emergencies or disasters can happen at any time. How prepared is your child care program to respond? Families trust child care providers for the safety and well-being of their children while they are in their care. During emergencies of all types and sizes, children rely on the adults caring for them. Your ability to quickly respond and recover from emergencies such as fires, power outages, and threats of violence depends on how prepared you are. Thanks to generous funding from the Emergency Preparedness and Response Program of the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, CCRC is able to offer free trainings and information to the community.
