Short Description
During the Minnesota 2020 Special legislative session, Minnesota took a significant step toward assuring the success of students by facilitating equitable access to high-quality, developmentally appropriate, and culturally responsive early childhood education programs for preschool-aged children. This document will provide guidance to understand the terms of the 2020 Special Legislative session early childhood amendment to the Pupil Fair Dismissal Act (PFDA) and provide resources for administrators and teachers leading this work.
