About the Podcasters
Cindy Croft is the director of the Center for Inclusive Child Care at Concordia University and works as grant faculty for Concordia University in St. Paul, MN. The Center for Inclusive Child Care is primarily funded by state agencies in Minnesota and works to support inclusive child care programming. Cindy has worked in the early childhood field for more than 15 years and in the disability field for more than 20 years. She as three grown children and a husband and lives in a suburb of Minneapolis/St. Paul. Cindy also teaches for Minneapolis College and has authored “The Six Keys: Strategies for Promoting Children’s Mental Health in Early Childhood Settings” as well as co-authored a training curriculum called "Children and Challenging Behavior: Making Inclusion Work.
Priscilla Weigel has worked with young children and families for more than 25 years. She has been a classroom teacher, Staff Development Coordinator and Lead Nursery School Teacher at Fraser School and currently consults as an EarlyChildhood/Inclusion Specialist for Fraser and The Center for Inclusive Child Care. In addition to successfully including and supporting children with special needs in community settings, Priscilla educates teachers, parents and early childhood professionals and conducts seminars throughout Minnesota for Fraser and The Center for Inclusive Child Care.
